Supplier risk is buyer risk
Your supplier's cash problem becomes your problem.
Volvo Cars' loss on its investment in supplier Northvolt. The gigafactory in Gothenburg was started in 2023 – 50 GWh a year, 3,000 jobs. In 2025 Northvolt went bankrupt; Volvo took over an empty factory and 225 jobs were lost.
Chrysler's assembly plants stood still overnight. Chrysler had already put USD 86m into propping up a squeezed supplier. When the relationship collapsed anyway, parts ran out – and 10,500 employees were left idle.
bankruptcies in Europe are caused by late payments. One delayed invoice leads to roughly four new delays further down the chain – until someone runs out of money.
Suppliers aren't managing their cash badly. They wait 30–90 days to get paid. Vender breaks the chain.

The value for you
Become your supplier's first-choice customer.
Suppliers remember who helps them with liquidity. With Vender you offer something they value highly – and get a discount on your purchases at the same time, without tying up capital.
Priority when supply is short
Buyers who pay quickly and predictably are up to 12× more likely to become a “customer of choice” – and get capacity, materials and delivery slots first.
Up to 1.5% discount
On every invoice financed through Vender you get a 0.5% discount per 30 days of tenor – up to 1.5% at 90 days, straight off the purchase cost. Your payment terms are unchanged.
Net 0 for your cash
No prepayment and no credit facility. A regulated partner bank provides the capital – not you.
Fewer disruptions
Fewer suppliers in a cash crunch means fewer empty shelves, fewer stoppages and fewer emergency replacement sourcing rounds.
“If my customer gave me Vender, I would definitely remember it when we have resource shortages.”
CEO, local parcel courier, Norrköping (translated).
How it works
Your process is unchanged. Vender takes over after approval.
Purchasing, delivery and invoicing work exactly as they do today. Vender only changes what happens after you have approved the invoice.

Why suppliers say yes
They are assessed on your creditworthiness. Not their own.
That is why small and new suppliers get a better price than with their own factoring – and a yes where others say no. You don't have to sell anything.
30–90 days
- Pays upfront for materials, wages and fuel
- Often gives a discount for fast payment
- 2/10 net 30 equates to ~37% annualised interest
Cost: hidden, but high
The supplier sells its invoices
- Priced on the supplier's own credit
- Small and new companies are often turned down
- Can signal cash problems
Priced on: the supplier's credit
Your benefit to them. Paid in 48 hours.
- No new debt and no recourse
- Chooses which invoices, paid to the existing account
- We handle onboarding in your name

Frequently asked questions
What procurement and finance usually ask.
What does it cost us as a buyer?
Nothing – quite the opposite. The supplier pays a small fee on the invoices it chooses to finance, and you get up to 1.5% discount on the same invoices. You pay on the same due date as today.
How can you offer a discount?
The financing is priced on your creditworthiness, which is stronger than the supplier's. That means the supplier pays less than for its own factoring – and part of the margin can go back to you as a discount. The size of the discount depends on volume, your creditworthiness and the invoice tenor.
Do we have to change our payment terms?
No. You keep your terms and pay on the same due date as today. If you need longer, we can offer credit.
Do we need to tie up capital or take on a credit facility?
No. Funding comes from a regulated partner bank and is priced on your creditworthiness – it is your creditworthiness that gives suppliers a good price. How supplier finance should be accounted for and disclosed (e.g. under IFRS) is something to confirm with your auditor; we are happy to share supporting material.
Do all suppliers have to take part?
No. It is voluntary – per supplier and per invoice. You choose which suppliers are offered the programme, and the supplier chooses which invoices to have paid out early.
What happens with incorrect or disputed invoices?
Only invoices you have approved are financed. An invoice that does not match never moves on to payout.
How is this different from regular factoring?
With factoring, the supplier sells its receivables and is priced on its own creditworthiness – often expensive, and it can signal cash problems. Here it is you as the buyer who offers the programme, and the price is set on your stronger credit.
